We wrote a letter to all our members in December 2023 about the McCloud remedy, our latest Pension Fund consultation, and the launch of our new Member Engagement Forum.
About the Forum
The Forum will be an opportunity for members to share their experience in being a member of the Fund. On the day we're planning to start off with an introduction to the Fund, including:
- our aims for the Forum
- the governance of the Fund
- the Fund’s objectives
- how we are funded
- how benefits are worked out
Based on feedback received from members who have expressed an interest in attending this Forum, the topics for discussion will be investments and the content of the Fund’s website.
First meeting details
The first meeting is planned for Monday 22 July 2024 and will take place at County Hall in Matlock, Derbyshire.
We expect this meeting to last a maximum of 2 hours including a short break.

If you would like to get involved and help to shape the service we provide to our members, then please complete the ‘Member Engagement Forum – Expression of interest form’ attached to this page and return it to pensions.regs@derbyshire.gov.uk
Depending on the number of responses, we may need to limit the size of the Forum.
